Children's Books & Games
Below is a chronological selection of some of the more than 250 children’s books and games I have collaborated on with writers, designers and artists over the years.

Across formats and projects, the focus has consistently been on creating content that is engaging, playful and inspiring for children.

Play by Carlsen

I joined Carlsen to help translate popular book universes into physical games for children. As part of a small team, I contributed to several titles, turning existing story worlds into playful, tangible experiences.

In total, eight games were created during this period. I was responsible for the development of five of them, working closely with authors, designers and the production team to ensure quality, play value and learning through play.

I particularly enjoyed helping bring Sebastian Klein’s passion for animals into game form.

Carlsen

At Carlsen, I also edited books featuring popular characters, including PAW Patrol, Curious George, Paddington, Pokémon, Disney and the Danish favorite Rasmus Klump. The titles included both original creations and localized editions acquired from major international publishers and licensors.

In addition, I was responsible for the creation of Monster-klog, an activity book series for school children focused on playful learning.

Globe Publishing - Original Creation

At Globe Publishing, I created original nonfiction titles for children, all developed from scratch. The Book+ concepts were designed to support meaningful, playful learning by offering multiple ways for children to engage with a topic.

By connecting different learning experiences within each title, the books supported individual learning styles and helped build both skills and knowledge.

The titles have been published in up to 12 languages.

Globe Publishing - Pick-up titles

At Globe Publishing, I also worked as an editor on pick-up nonfiction titles for the Danish market, sourced from major international publishers such as Dorling Kindersley and Quarto.

The role involved identifying high-quality titles with strong visual appeal and content that resonated with children across a wide range of topics.

Egmont Creative Solutions

At Egmont Creative Solutions, I worked on licensed products based on global brands such as Disney, Mattel, Hasbro and HIT Entertainment. The work included both original creations and titles acquired directly from licensors.

The products were primarily published across the Nordic countries as well as Central and Eastern Europe.
